Impact of Shelling in Odesa: Schools and Homes Damaged
According to the Odesa City Council press service, the city has faced another attack.
A projectile hit a densely populated area in Odesa, causing extensive damage to numerous apartments and educational institutions. Over 90 windows were shattered in three schools, with at least three individuals injured.
Oksana Bujnevich, head of the education department, urged parents to take precautions:
«Please explain to children not to touch any suspicious objects on the ground. It can be dangerous».
All relevant services are working to mitigate the consequences of the shelling.
An operational headquarters will be established this morning, where residents can receive advice on how to apply for financial aid to repair windows and doors, as well as compensation from the government through the eRecovery program.
«Additionally, our reliable partners, including charitable organizations, will provide assistance with kits for temporarily sealing windows», – the city hall reported.
