Ukrainian Delegation Engages in Diplomatic Talks in Turkey

During their visit to Turkey, the Ukrainian delegation met with representatives from four nations to align their positions ahead of talks with the Russian delegation.

This was reported by Andriy Yermak, head of the President's Office.

The delegation includes Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, and Yermak himself. Earlier, the Foreign Ministry announced the initiation of diplomatic negotiations involving the Ukrainian, American, and Turkish delegations.

As Yermak stated, they met with U.S. President's Special Representative Keith Kellogg, U.K. Prime Minister's National Security Advisor Jonathan Powell, French President's Diplomatic Advisor Emmanuel Bonne, and German Chancellor's Foreign Policy and Security Advisor Günther Seuter.

During this meeting, they coordinated their positions in preparation for the upcoming discussions between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Istanbul.

"Ukraine is ready for peace and an unconditional ceasefire. We are also open to high-level meetings and negotiations. Our presence in Istanbul today is focused on achieving an unconditional ceasefire, which is our top priority," Yermak concluded.
