On April 15, 2025, during a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Odesa City Council, Hennadii Trukhanov honored veterans who participated in an extreme distance marathon across the Aegean Sea.

The adaptive athletes formed two teams that completed a symbolic route on boats along Mount Olympus and showcased their skills in the strength element of "tug of war."

For their active community engagement, promotion of adaptive sports among veterans, significant contributions to the development of international sports cooperation, and for strengthening the positive image of Odesa abroad, as well as demonstrating courage, spirit, and team unity during the international marathon in Greece,

the Executive Committee of the Odesa City Council awarded the following people with honorary certificates:
