Celebration of the 31st Children's Creativity Exhibition in Jerusalem
On May 7, 2025, the Holy Archangel Michael Women's Monastery in Jerusalem hosted the grand opening of the 31st international children's creativity exhibition «Easter Glow».
This competition was founded to support talented children and create favorable conditions for their development.
The «Easter Glow» exhibition brings together the talents of children from around the world. For 31 years, this significant cultural project has continued to delight audiences. In 2025, the exhibition features works from children in Ukraine and various European countries, who continue to create thanks to the support of their families and teachers.
The exhibition comprises 300 artworks, with around 100 receiving diplomas. It includes pieces created in various techniques such as watercolor, gouache, graphics, dolls, stained glass, and paper craft. The selection of works was done by an esteemed jury headed by Galina Lekareva-Nikitina, a honorary cultural worker of Ukraine.
In their creations, children express their impressions of the surrounding world and depict national traditions with sincerity and simplicity.
As per tradition, the best works were awarded prizes in three categories: painting, graphics, and decorative applied arts. This year, participants included children from Ukraine, Poland, and the USA.
