Increase in Electric Vehicles in Ukraine for 2025
In the first quarter of 2025, Ukraine welcomed 12,800 new electric vehicles (BEV) into its fleet.
This was reported by Ukravtoprom.
The highest registration figures were observed in:
- Lviv region – 1961 units (94% used);
- Kyiv city – 1632 units (68% used);
- Kyiv region – 1120 units (76% used);
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 986 units (80% used);
- Odesa region – 761 units (76% used).
Among new vehicles, the most popular electric car was the BYD Song Plus EV.
Concerning imported used vehicles:
- TESLA Model Y – in Kyiv and its region;
- TESLA Model 3 – in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions;
- NISSAN Leaf – in Odesa region.
Reminder:
- In January-March, Ukrainians purchased 12,000 imported used cars aged up to 5 years.
