Harvest Update 2025: Latest Data from Farmers
As of the end of September, farmers have harvested 30.423 million tons of grain from 7.2138 million hectares. This accounts for 63% of the total area sown with these crops, according to agronews.ua.
Specifically:
- Wheat – 22,525 thousand tons from an area of 5,020 thousand hectares;
- Barley – 5,330.3 thousand tons from an area of 1,345.6 thousand hectares;
- Peas – 626.6 thousand tons from an area of 266 thousand hectares;
- Corn – 964.2 thousand tons from an area of 195.9 thousand hectares.
Additionally, other grains and legumes contributed 859.4 thousand tons from an area of 308.7 thousand hectares.
Among the leading regions:
- Odesa region – 3,687.4 thousand tons from an area of 1,101.1 thousand hectares;
- Vinnytsia region – 2,418.9 thousand tons from an area of 436 thousand hectares;
- Kirovohrad region – 2,223.8 thousand tons from an area of 541.3 thousand hectares;
- Khmelnytskyi region – 2,134.9 thousand tons from an area of 309.6 thousand hectares.
Ukrainian farmers have completed the rapeseed harvest, yielding 3.3 million tons from over 1.27 million hectares. The harvest of other industrial crops is also ongoing. Soya has been harvested at 1.5 million tons from nearly 750 thousand hectares. The sunflower harvest stands at 4.1 million tons over an area of more than 2.23 million hectares. Moreover, over 1.4 million tons of sugar beets have been dug up from 29 thousand hectares.
