Transforming Business Education: New Opportunities Ahead

  • How can training programs truly benefit businesses?
  • What knowledge is essential for entrepreneurs to scale their ventures?
  • How can we unite business, education, and government for regional growth?

We will collaboratively seek answers to these questions through the «BizOn» project — promoting and transforming business education in Ukraine. Our goal is to establish a productive dialogue between entrepreneurs and educational institutions to create genuinely effective training programs.

 What’s happening in Odessa?

Project presentation and roundtable discussion — mid-March.

We will introduce the project and our partners. We will discuss local business needs and educational challenges, and jointly determine what modern business education should look like.

Regional forum — second half of April.

We will invite entrepreneurs, educators, and government representatives to develop a roadmap for business education in the Odessa region.

Meetup — second half of April.

An informal gathering to exchange ideas and develop new training programs for entrepreneurs. We will also discuss how to ensure the financial autonomy of educational institutions while complying with state requirements.

Additionally, we invite you to a series of webinars:

February — we will discuss productivity in today’s world and analyze successful cases of Ukrainian businesses.

March — we will explore innovations in business and try to understand what it means to «implement innovations».

April — we will embark on a journey through the Bermuda Triangle of «Education — Business — Government» and investigate whether it truly is as detrimental as believed.

During the project implementation, we will identify additional topics for webinars or expert online discussions.

The ambassador of the training program will be Pavel Sheremeta, founder of the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, former Minister of Economic Development of Ukraine, and a well-known economist.

Join us! Together, we can establish high-quality educational programs for businesses that will assist entrepreneurs in their growth and development.

This initiative is being implemented by the Center for Public Expertise under the project «Transformational Recovery for the Safety of People in Ukraine», with support from UNDP and financial backing from the government of Japan.
