Free Access to Google AI Pro for Ukrainian Students

Starting October 8, Ukrainian students will have the opportunity to access a one-year subscription to Gemini and AI Pro from Google at no cost.

This was announced on Telegram by Mykhailo Fedorov, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine.

«Modern tools are essential for students to improve their learning and develop skills. From today, Google offers a free annual subscription to Google AI Pro for students over 18 years old», the statement reads.

As a result, students from Ukrainian universities will gain access to the following services:

  • Gemini 2.5 Pro – a chat tool to assist with learning and complex subjects. Users can upload images and receive explanations in real-time;
  • Deep Research – a tool that independently analyzes hundreds of sources and creates structured reports. It saves hours of preparation for coursework and essays;

  • Jules – an AI assistant for programming. It helps write, test, and improve code;

To participate in the program, registration on the website is required.
