Champion of the National History Olympiad

From April 9 to 13, the IV stage of the National History Olympiad took place in Lutsk, with over 140 students participating from all regions of Ukraine. 

The opening ceremony was held at the Museum of Modern Ukrainian Art of the Korsaks. 

The competition consisted of two rounds: theoretical and practical.

The absolute winner of the Olympiad was Artem Pastoshchuk, an 11th-grade student from Odesa Lyceum No. 9 (history teacher - Sidenko Alina).  

Artem's journey to victory lasted 4 years. He first placed 1st in the regional stage of the history Olympiad in 2022 but was unable to attend training camps due to the full-scale invasion.

A week prior, Artem also participated in the IV stage of the National Geography Olympiad, where he received a II degree diploma.

Throughout 2023 and 2024, Artem was involved in subject Olympiads and intellectual contests, achieving a record number of prize-winning places at various levels.

Additionally, Artem Pastoshchuk is a Presidential scholarship holder and a scholarship holder of the Mayor of Odesa.
