Harvesting Progress in Ukraine as of July 2025

As of July 25, 2025, Ukrainian farmers have harvested nearly one-third (29%) of the area sown with grain and leguminous crops, gathering over 10.3 million tons of the new crop.

This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

Ukraine's Grain Harvest: Current Harvesting Efforts

By July 25, 2025, 3,236 thousand hectares have been harvested, resulting in 10,347.2 thousand tons of early grain and leguminous crops. A total of 29% of the sown area has been harvested.

Crop Results

Specifically, the harvest results are as follows:

  • wheat – 7.08 million tons from an area of 2.17 million hectares;
  • barley – 2.79 million tons from an area of 838.7 thousand hectares;
  • peas – 412.4 thousand tons from an area of 190.9 thousand hectares.

Additionally, farmers have harvested 54.2 thousand tons of other new grain crops from an area of 28.5 thousand hectares.

The leading regions in terms of harvest volume remain Odesa, where over 2.5 million tons have been harvested from 884.5 thousand hectares. Notable contributions also come from farmers in Kirovohrad (1.52 million tons from 368.7 thousand hectares) and Mykolaiv (1.38 million tons from 577.3 thousand hectares).

As for rapeseed, as of July 25, 1.04 million tons of this crop have been harvested from an area of 535 thousand hectares.
