Government Allocates Financial Resources for Ukraine's Recovery

On June 23, during an extraordinary meeting, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers decided to allocate over 22 billion UAH received from international partners for the country's recovery efforts.

This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

Out of this amount, nearly 18.5 billion UAH from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will be directed towards healthcare, education, agriculture, humanitarian demining, and the restoration of municipal infrastructure in our cities.

Additionally, around 1.4 billion UAH from JICA will be used for energy sector recovery and for training and educating deminers who are clearing Ukrainian land of "Russian mine debris".

The Cabinet also distributed approximately 2.2 billion UAH of budget support from the European Union for the reconstruction and modernization of port infrastructure.
