Revamping Healthcare Assistance in the Kyiv District
The Deputy Mayor, Pavlo Vugelman, visited a newly established integrated psychological assistance center in the Kyiv district of Odessa. Here, patients can consult family doctors, as well as access a robust consultative and diagnostic center and an outreach palliative service, offering comprehensive outpatient care and psychological support for residents and visitors alike.
Due to funding from the Odessa city budget and resources obtained from agreements with the National Health Service of Ukraine, family clinics and the day hospital of the primary healthcare center have been renovated, alongside upgrades to the surgical unit of the consultative diagnostic center.
Today, an awareness campaign focusing on mental health, initiated by the city’s Department of Health, is being held in this and other medical facilities across Odessa.
“We are committed to creating a comfortable environment for patients and medical staff in this key outpatient healthcare facility in the Kyiv district. A decision has already been made to allocate additional funds from the city budget for further renovations and modernization of the center,” - reported Deputy Mayor Pavlo Vugelman.
