Preserving Bus Stops: A Call for Responsibility
The employees of the municipal enterprise «City Roads» are consistently engaged in repairing public transport stops. Unfortunately, there are daily incidents of vandalism where individuals leave inappropriate messages, destroy benches and bins, and shatter glass structures.
Since the beginning of 2024, vandals have damaged 33 public transport stops, 33 benches, 85 bins, and 15 roofs. Additionally, the staff is forced to clean the stops from inscriptions and posters left by indifferent citizens.
Currently, the municipal enterprise «City Roads» oversees 1012 public transport stops.
The specialists regularly perform sanitary cleaning of adjacent territories and carry out repair, washing, and painting works of stops, benches, and bins.
The Odessa City Council once again appeals to residents and visitors to care for municipal property. Intentional damage to public assets leads to criminal liability.
