Storm Damage in Odesa: Fallen Trees and Cleanup Efforts
Due to prolonged rainfall and strong winds that lasted nearly a day, 70 trees and large branches have been uprooted in Odesa. The information is being updated continuously. The city's municipal services immediately began addressing the aftermath.
Emergency situations are being handled by specialists from the municipal enterprises «Miskzelentrest», «City Roads», and «Housing and Communal Services» at their respective locations. The municipal workers are cutting down fallen trees and removing them, as well as cleaning the streets from debris.
First and foremost, the workers clear roads, highways, and pedestrian pathways of fallen trees, and also remove trees that obstruct access to significant social facilities.
Currently, the cleanup has been completed at 37 locations, with work still ongoing at 33 sites.
