Independence Day Celebration in Odesa
On August 24th, Ukraine's Independence Day, a 34-meter flag was unfurled in Odesa.
Each meter of this banner represents a year of our independence. It symbolizes our victories and challenges, the journey through turbulent times towards unity, dignity, and strength.
Thanks to the bravery of Ukrainian soldiers, our flag now flies high, known to the world as a symbol of a strong and unyielding Ukraine. Their resilience allows us to celebrate, live, and dream.
Today, Odesa proudly holds the blue and yellow flag as a symbol of freedom, gratitude, and hope. It waves over the sea, the streets, and in our hearts. Every gust of wind that unfurls the banner over the city reminds us: we have endured, we exist, and we will prevail!
