A fire that broke out in Odesa on June 25, 2025, has resulted in damages amounting to 22 million 148 thousand hryvnias.

According to the State Environmental Inspection of the Southwestern District, in addition to the massive economic losses, 7128 tons of harmful CO2 emissions were released into the atmosphere!

Yesterday, in the Persypskyi district, a fire ignited in dry vegetation. Due to weather conditions, the flames quickly spread over a large area across three hotspots. To better manage the firefighting resources, aerial reconnaissance was conducted using drones, as there was a threat of the fire spreading to nearby residential houses. Firefighters, in conjunction with the National Guard, local fire teams, and utility workers, rapidly contained the fire and prevented its further spread.

The fire was extinguished over a total area of 10 hectares.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
