Revitalizing Green Spaces in the City
Employees of the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» together with colleagues from the Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» have conducted significant work to lower the soil of the median strip on Yaroslav Mudryi Avenue.
In the second phase of the project, landscapers improved the median strip along Yaroslav Mudryi Avenue (from Heavenly Hundred Avenue to Academician Korolev Street - Independence Square) measuring approximately 1500 m in length and 2.6 m in width.
The landscapers leveled the soil surface and planned the area, after which they began the greening process by planting around 10,000 perennial plants of various species.
Going forward, the workers will carry out maintenance tasks for the plants: watering, weeding, fertilizing, and loosening the soil.
Recently, similar works were carried out in the Peresyp district of Odesa (on the median strip and along Mykolaiv and Southern Roads). In total, approximately 6800 sq.m. were processed.
