Greening Efforts in Odessa
The team at the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» is actively engaged in greening efforts in Odessa. In April, they planted 327 saplings of deciduous trees.
These trees, aged 8-10 years (white acacia, sycamore, ash, Japanese sophora, oriental plane tree, catalpa, and linden), were cultivated on-site for urban planting. They are planted with a closed root system to ensure better survival rates.
Since the beginning of the year, about 1500 young trees and over 7200 shrubs have been planted throughout Odessa as part of various initiatives and community events.
The greening work in Odessa is ongoing.
