Final Event of EU4Culture Project in Chișinău
In Chișinău, an important event of the EU4Culture program, initiated by the European Union to support cultural development in Eastern Partnership countries including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, is taking place.
Representatives from cities, as well as artists and cultural sector specialists, are participating in this event, having developed their cultural strategies under the EU4Culture project. Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and establish national and international partnerships.
"Odessa joined the project in 2023 and has achieved several significant results in a short time,"
- stated Ivan Liptuga, director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and Eurointegration of the Odessa City Council.
He discussed the work on the "Cultural Development Strategy of Odessa 2025-2035" - a document that will serve as the foundation for the city's cultural sector, as well as other important initiatives:
- guide for preserving Odessa's cultural heritage;
- manual for designing Odessa's signage;
- visualization of Odessa's symbols – creating 3D models of the city's iconic symbols and other initiatives.
The strategic vision for the cultural development of Odessa has been developed in collaboration with cultural figures, representatives of creative industries, and NGOs. This document will be presented to the Odessa City Council for consideration.
