Cultural Milestone: The 'Odessa. U-Next' Project
In December 2023, just before the New Year festivities, the 'UNION' cultural center hosted the launch of a new artistic project called 'Odessa. U-Next'.
As part of the 'Odessa. U-Next' initiative, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Odessa City Council and the Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, allowing gifted children to perform on the city's main theater stages.
«Today we have the opportunity to discover the future stars of Odessa opera, while the children gain invaluable experience performing on a prestigious stage before discerning audiences,» said Odessa's Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.
The mayor encouraged the young performers to keep striving for excellence and to pursue their dreams relentlessly.
