The Light of Peace at the Odessa Zoo
On December 24, the Odessa Zoo hosted a memorable event – the ceremonial passing of the Bethlehem fire of peace, organized by Raisa Kraieva, the leader of the Odessa Center for Children's and Youth Creativity "Samotsvit".
The Bethlehem fire of peace is an international scouting initiative held annually before Christmas. Its main goal is to spread the flame lit at the birthplace of Jesus Christ around the globe. This fire symbolizes goodwill and support.
Representatives of the Black Sea Flotilla of Young Sailors and volunteers were also present at the event, actively supporting this initiative.
During the ceremony, greetings were exchanged, accompanied by many warm words and sincere wishes for peace.
The event was organized by Elena Alexeyenko, an honored cultural worker of Ukraine.
