Odessa Under Fire: The November 14 Assault
On the evening of November 14, 2024, Odessa suffered a massive combined enemy strike.
The missile and drone assault caused damage to 9 high-rise buildings, educational institutions, vehicle repair shops, a church, commercial properties, a main heating pipeline, private garages, and over 40 vehicles.
The enemy also targeted Odessa's port infrastructure.
Additionally, one of the family clinics in the center of Odessa was affected by the nighttime shelling from the Russian army.
Windows and doors were damaged, furniture was broken, and there were damages to walls, ceilings, and roof beams.
Currently, efforts are underway to cover windows with film, assess the building's condition and engineering networks. The clinic on Pasteur Street is closed until the inspection is complete.
The clinic building is an architectural landmark and is located within a UNESCO protected area.
