Rescue Operations Conclude in Odesa After Severe Weather

In Odesa, rescue teams have completed their search operations following the severe weather incident. As a result of the storm, 10 individuals lost their lives, while more than 380 were saved. This was reported by Oleksiy Kubela, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister, on Telegram.
"We have finished the search operations. 10 people have died, but over 380 have been rescued," Kubela stated.
He noted that recovery efforts are still ongoing. Water has been pumped out at over 60 locations, preparing the infrastructure for further restoration. About 30 sites are still under operation.
Most of the water accumulated in underground parking garages, from which over 15,000 cubic meters have already been removed.
Additionally, 40 out of the 42 flooded shelters have been cleared.
According to Kubela, commissions will begin working in the city to assess housing for future compensation, as well as investigating the causes of the tragedy.
A "hotline" for the unified citizen appeal center at 15-35 has been opened. An additional line 15-01 has also been established. Over 500 calls have been received on the "hotlines" yesterday and today.
Due to the disaster and nighttime Russian shelling, 46,000 customers in Odesa are currently without electricity. Energy workers and rescuers are continuing their efforts under difficult conditions to restore power as quickly as possible. Water and gas supply in the city and region are functioning normally.
A total of 161 resilience points are being prepared for opening, where people can charge their devices and warm up.
