Mass Drone Attack on Odesa: Infrastructure Damage Reported
Odesa has been subjected to a massive drone strike, resulting in severe damage to energy and civil infrastructure. This was confirmed by emergency services.
As a result of the strikes, several fires erupted, including those at energy facilities and a three-story hotel-restaurant complex. Firefighters rescued two individuals and quickly extinguished the flames. Psychologists from emergency services were on-site to provide assistance to 21 people.
Additionally, three residential buildings suffered damage. Preliminary reports indicate that one person was injured.
Efforts to mitigate the aftermath were complicated by repeated air raid alerts.
A total of 18 units of equipment and 70 firefighters from emergency services were deployed, along with one unit and four volunteers from the Ukrainian Volunteer Firefighter Association, and one unit and four personnel from the city council’s fire department.
