Rescue Operations in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi

Rescue teams with dogs have completed the search of the rubble at the destroyed educational institution to find any potential victims. The clearing operations have been ongoing for over a day without pause.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, rescuers from the 3rd Special Center of SES have been working non-stop to clear the debris following the Russian attack on a school in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odesa region.

The dog handlers, accompanied by specially trained dogs, meticulously checked the debris for possible victims trapped under the collapsed building. There have been no reports of new casualties or victims from the Russian shelling.

"Despite the fatigue, dust, and smoke, the rescuers do not stop to clear the premises as quickly as possible," noted the SES.

It is worth mentioning that as a result of a Russian missile strike on June 23, three people died in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, and 14 others were injured, including two children. The attack completely destroyed the lyceum and damaged other city infrastructure.
