International Acrobatic Sports Championship in Chisinau
From October 24 to 27, 2024, Chisinau hosted international acrobatic sports competitions, known as the open championship of Moldova.
During three competitive days, 165 athletes from Chisinau, Tiraspol, Bender, Sucleia, Artiz, Odessa, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi captivated audiences with the beauty and complexity of this spectacular sport.
The team from Odessa was represented by talented athletes from the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 3: Sofia Puzdrach, Alina Fesyk, and Anna Lutsker, who secured first place in the candidate master of sports program.
The athletes were coached by instructors Oksana Kopecka and Tamara Zahrebelyna.
In Odessa, there are 212 young athletes engaged in acrobatic sports at children's and youth schools.
