Recognition of Winners at Shooting Championship
From August 10 to 17, the Ukrainian shooting championship for athletes born in 2002 and younger was held in Vinnytsia.
The Odesa team consisted of athletes from the Complex Children's and Youth Sports School No. 3 and the regional shooting sports school.
In the men's small-bore rifle shooting prone at 50 meters, the champion of Ukraine was Ivan Tkalenko (regional shooting school), while Ilya Ananyev (CDYUSSH No. 3) won the bronze medal.
In the MG-5 event (three-position shooting), Ivan Tkalenko secured a silver medal, and the team consisting of Ivan Tkalenko, Danil Ananyev, and Yegor Mozusenko received bronze medals.
Additionally, in the women's small-bore rifle shooting prone at 50 meters, the Odesa team comprising Ksenia Gerasimova (CDYUSSH No. 3), Olga Rudik, and Kateryna Nikonenko (regional shooting school) won bronze medals.
The athletes were trained by coaches Olga Chikalova (CDYUSSH No. 3) and Svitlana Skachko (regional shooting school).
