Veterans of Ukraine Triumph in Intense Match Against Amateurs
At the "Chornomorets" stadium in Odessa, an exciting football match took place between the FSK "Palmira" team and the veterans of Ukraine, concluding with a victory for the veterans in a penalty shootout 3:2. The game was tense and dynamic, showcasing the high level of both teams.
According to the UAF press service, the FSK "Palmira" team - one of the strongest amateur teams in the region - faced off against the veterans. At the start of the match, Ruslan Khvan managed to score, giving "Palmira" a psychological edge.
In the second half, Yuriy Maksymov equalized for the veterans, ending regular time with a score of 1:1. Consequently, the match was decided by penalties, where the veterans displayed greater accuracy.
"The match was extremely intense and ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of the veterans in the penalty shootout," noted the UAF press service.
The veterans' team consisted of: Eduard Tikhmeistruk, Volodymyr Yezerskyi, Yuriy Maksymov, Kyrylo Kovalchuk, Oleg Shelayev, Ruslan Kostiushyn, Vitaliy Mandziuk, Oleksandr Kosyrin, Dmytro Bezruk, Vyacheslav Sviderksy, Volodymyr Bondarenko, Mykola Ishchenko, Oleksandr Venglynskiy, and Vadym Milko. This lineup brought together experienced players with significant high-level competition experience.
