Football Tournament in Honor of Ukraine's Heroes
On May 30th, a football tournament took place in the village of Yas'ky, Odesa region, honoring the memory of 12 heroes who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine.
This event served not only to pay tribute to the heroes but also as a symbol of unity, strength, and the indomitable spirit of our nation.
We express our gratitude for the support in organizing the tournament:
- the head of the charity fund “Terentiev” - Roman Terentiev;
- the head of Odesa RVA - Oleksandr Hrynchak;
- the director of the charity organization “It Matters” - Denys Zharkov.
Thanks to these individuals, the event managed to unite the community, families of the fallen, youth, and athletes.
The tournament was named
“Cup of the Heroes of the Community,” which included:
- FC “Mayaki” - the team consisted of soldiers from the National Guard of Ukraine in Odesa;
- the team from Yas'ky community;
- the team from Bilialiivka.
On this day, football was more than just a game - it was a living memory of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our peaceful skies. We sincerely thank all participants, organizers, and guests who shared this important day with us.
During the event, families of the fallen defenders were presented with 12 awards, unfortunately posthumously...
We remember. We are grateful. We will win.
