Priority Marriage Registration for Defenders of Ukraine via Diia

Defenders of Ukraine can now prioritize their marriage dates and times through the "Diia" platform.

This was reported by the portal's press service.

"Due to the high demand for marriage registration via "Diia", a priority online marriage registration has been launched for defenders," the statement said.

For those serving in the Armed Forces who wish to marry online, you need to:

open the Army+ app;

navigate to the Services section;

select Online Marriage.

The system will then direct you to "Diia", where you will see available dates considering your priority and will ensure a separate online marriage registration. Next, fill out the application, choose whether to change your last name after marriage, specify where to deliver the marriage certificate, and confirm everything with Diia.Signature.

"On your wedding registration day, simply follow the link in "Diia" to the online ceremony, where a representative from the Digital Registry Office will be waiting for you. The marriage process takes up to 30 minutes. All you need is a smartphone and internet access," they stated in "Diia".

It is noted that already over 4,000 couples have officially married online, around 19,000 applications have been submitted, and more than 2 million proposals have been made through "Diia".
