Establishing New Recreational Spaces for Veterans and Persons with Disabilities
Members of the Accessibility Council's expert group under the Odessa Mayor have visited locations where spaces for the recreation and rehabilitation of veterans and people with disabilities are to be organized.
This includes the beach at the 11th station of the Great Fountain, where an inclusive beach is planned, and the area near the «Dolphin» beach, where an inclusive outdoor sports complex will be created.
In addition to executive body employees, the expert group comprises veterans, community representatives, and people with disabilities.
During the visit, all essential aspects were thoroughly documented, including the need for tactile paving, ramps, additional handrails, and special swimming equipment.
The outcomes of the expert group's field meeting will soon be processed by the relevant services.
