Promoting Health: New Initiatives by Odessa's Family Clinics

In recent years, family clinics in Odessa have actively implemented health days and open events for the community.

The primary goal of these initiatives is to encourage local residents to regularly monitor their health, as timely medical check-ups can significantly reduce the risk of disease development.

Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, emphasized the importance of such events during his recent visit to the Primary Healthcare Center No. 3.

This clinic serves over 13,000 residents in a densely populated area.

Recently, the clinic underwent major renovations to create comfortable conditions for patients and medical staff. The updates included renovations to the entrance and restroom facilities, ensuring compliance with modern accessibility standards for individuals with limited mobility.

To ensure uninterrupted operation, the medical facility is equipped with a generator and has a 1000-liter water reservoir.

In addition to standard medical services, Primary Healthcare Center No. 3 offers mobile palliative care, mental health support, and tuberculosis treatment. A substitution therapy program for individuals with dependencies is also available.

To receive free medical services under the state medical guarantee program, residents must sign a declaration with their family doctor.
