Virtual Seminar on Ukrainian Traditions
On April 10, 2025, an online seminar titled «Rise Again, Easter Egg!» was held for teachers and students of educational institutions in Odesa.
This event was part of the nationwide seminar-practice «The Living Song of Ukraine,» addressing issues of symbolism and semantics in Ukrainian culture.
The main goal of the seminar was to introduce participants to Easter traditions and to teach various skills in decorative arts and crafts.
Participants had the opportunity to listen to presentations by folk artisans about traditional forms of Ukrainian art and to engage in workshops on egg decorating, Petrykivka painting, crochet, straw weaving, and embroidery.
At the end of the seminar, participants received certificates.
The event was organized by the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council in collaboration with the interregional public organization «Black Sea District «Zaporizhzhia Cossacks».
