Shocking Incident in Odesa: Grenade Explodes in Apartment
A shocking incident occurred in the Primorsky district of Odesa when a man detonated a military grenade in his friends' apartment. All attendees of the gathering sustained injuries.
This took place on April 11, when a powerful explosion echoed from one of the high-rise apartments.
According to the National Police, a friend of the couple residing in the building visited them with a grenade. For unknown reasons, he decided to experiment with the explosive device and pulled the safety pin, which immediately caused the explosion. As a result, windows in the apartment shattered.
Fortunately, no one was killed, but all three individuals suffered injuries. The perpetrator injured his leg and was taken to the hospital. The couple was also hospitalized, but their injuries were not severe.
The police are interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
Preliminary findings suggest that improper handling of explosive materials was the cause of this unfortunate event.
