Arrest of Poacher at Tudorove Lake
Law enforcement officers uncovered a poacher who caught 180 kg of fish, inflicting over 600,000 hryvnias in damages to the state. This was reported by the fish protection patrol.
During a raid at Tudoreve Lake in the Yaskiv territorial community, inspectors from the Odesa fish protection patrol, together with border guards and police, discovered a man who illegally caught 348 bream, 23 crucians, and one carp using two nets from a boat.
"A protocol was drawn up against the offender for gross violations of fishing rules, and materials are being prepared to initiate criminal proceedings. The illegal catch, fishing gear, boat, and engine have been seized," the report stated.
