At the Odesa Lyceum «European», a conference titled «Innovations in Educational Processes: Utilizing Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies» was held as part of the Open Educational Forum #EducationOdessa – 2023.

The main goal of the event was to familiarize educators and community representatives with modern digital and information technologies, including the use of ChatGPT and other tools in the educational process.

More than 200 participants attended the event, including representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the State Scientific Institution «Institute for the Modernization of Education Content», the «Unified School» company, the educational information system Eddy, as well as leaders and educators from educational institutions in Odesa.

The conference was opened by Irina Stolbova, Deputy Director of the Education and Science Department of the Odesa City Council, who outlined the key principles for implementing digital technologies in general secondary education for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Discussion panels were held on topics such as:

- Digitalization of education during and after wartime;

- Development of a digital educational space;

- Implementation of digital tools in educational institutions;

- Safety in the educational environment;

- Use of ChatGPT in educational activities.

A resolution was adopted at the conference, emphasizing the need to form a working group for the establishment and operation of a digital educational space in Ukraine. Additionally, a proposal was made for developers of national educational software products to adhere to the requirements of state standards and personal data protection laws.

Organizers of the conference included the Odesa City Council's Education and Science Department, the State Scientific Institution "Institute for the Modernization of Education Content", and companies offering various digital systems and tools.
