Record-Setting Shell Maze in Ukraine

The longest maze made of rapa whelk shells is located in the family recreation park «New Vasyuki» in the village of Molodizhne, Odessa region.
This was reported by Lana Vetrova, head of the national record registry of Ukraine, on her Facebook page.
The total length of the maze's walls is nearly half a kilometer, measuring 486 running meters, with a wall thickness of 25 cm. The maze covers an area of 911.3 square meters. Over 134 tons of shells were used to create this amazing location, sourced from various sea shores after storms. The shells were collected, cleaned, dried, and weathered under the sun, a process that took years and required immense patience. However, the owner of the eco-park, Vasyl Voloshynov, was confident in the outcome.
The result is the Ukrainian record for «The First Maze Made of Rapa Whelk Shells».
