Night Fire in "7th Heaven" Residential Complex
In the early hours of October 8, a fire erupted in a residential complex named "7th Heaven" on European Street, specifically affecting an apartment on the third floor of a five-story building. The flames spread to the balcony but were quickly extinguished by firefighters, and thankfully, there were no casualties.
According to the State Emergency Service of the Odesa region, the fire started in the apartment and could have spread further, but the prompt response from the firefighters contained the blaze.
"Our firefighters successfully prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent apartments," said a representative from the emergency services.
The quick actions of the responders helped localize the source of the fire, averting a larger disaster in a densely populated residential area.
A significant number of resources were deployed to the scene - 7 units of equipment and 25 firefighters from the State Emergency Service, along with 1 unit of equipment and 3 personnel from the Avangard village council's citizen safety center.
Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities reported, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the appropriate authorities.
