Fire Breaks Out in Odesa District
A fire erupted on private premises in the Odesa district, consuming trucks, buses, garbage, and dry grass. During attempts to extinguish the flames, a woman was injured and rushed to the hospital.
The incident took place on July 24 in the village of Sukhy Lyman. On Naberezhna Street, abandoned trucks, buses, construction debris, and tall grass caught fire. Firefighters swiftly brought the blaze under control and prevented it from spreading to nearby residential buildings.
"As a result of the fire, 5 buses were destroyed, and 1 truck was damaged. During the independent firefighting efforts, the owner, a woman born in 1945, suffered burns and was hospitalized in critical condition. The cause of the fire and the extent of damages are currently being investigated. A total of 3 fire engines and 10 firefighters from the State Emergency Service were involved, along with 1 unit and 3 personnel from the Citizen Safety Center "Avangard", as stated in the report.
