Enhancing Accessibility in Odesa: New Initiatives
The city of Odesa is actively implementing new initiatives within the framework of the “Barrier-Free Movement” project.
Today, July 24, another online conference was held with representatives of the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine. Participants discussed the documents required for project implementation, as well as cooperation with businesses to create a comfortable and inclusive environment.
At the instruction of Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov, active reconstruction work has already begun in Odesa along the barrier-free route.
In particular, preparations are underway for the modernization of sidewalks, installation of ramps, tactile elements, and inclusive navigation signs.
