Strength and Valor of Ukraine's Naval Forces
The Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces valiantly defend the nation at sea, on land, and in the air, doing everything possible to ensure the security of the state.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Facebook, dedicating a post to the Navy Day of Ukraine.
Together with other defense units, the naval forces have demonstrated that Ukraine is ready to protect its national interests.
“There has been no and will be no Russian landing in Odesa, the ship 'Moscow' has sunk, Snake Island is under Ukrainian control, and 28 Russian vessels and one submarine have been destroyed or damaged, while the 'grain corridor' continues to operate, ensuring global food security,” emphasized Zelensky, congratulating everyone on Navy Day.
Navy Day of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been celebrated since 2015 on the first Sunday of July according to the Presidential Decree of Ukraine dated June 12, 2015.
