Fire Breaks Out in Residential Building in Odessa
A fire erupted in a residential building in Odessa due to a short circuit in a boiler. The flames spread over an area of 50 square meters. As a result of the incident, one woman was injured.
According to the emergency services press office, last evening, June 7, a fire broke out in the Primorsky district. On Pavlo Zelenu street, household items in an apartment on the third floor of a five-story building were engulfed in flames.
"The fire was extinguished over an area of 50 square meters. As a result of the fire, a woman born in 1961 was taken to the hospital in moderate condition. The probable cause of the fire is a malfunction of the electrical wiring in the boiler.
Damage is currently being assessed. A total of 6 fire engines and 26 firefighters were involved in the operation," the report states.
