Due to extensive technical updates, a major data processing center experienced a temporary outage, as reported by "Diia".

Specifically, social media is buzzing about the malfunction of mobile applications such as "Nova Poshta", "Diia", and "Kyiv Digital".

Gorokhovsky suspects that this might have been a result of a hacker attack on one of the large data centers.

The Kyiv City State Administration noted that due to the technical failure at "Oschadbank", contactless payment for metro rides is unavailable.

Currently, fares can be paid using:

• transport cards;
• qr-code generated in the "Kyiv Digital" app;
• paper qr-tickets.

Update: It was later clarified that the issue did not stem from a cyberattack but rather from a power outage during scheduled maintenance at the De Novo data center.
