Safety Celebration for Children on International Mine Awareness Day
On the eve of International Mine Awareness Day, rescuers organized a memorable safety celebration at the children's venue 'UNICEF Together'.
There were plenty of exciting and educational activities prepared for the boys and girls.
They participated in lively dance exercises with psychologists, searched for mock explosive devices using a mine detector, learned to identify ammunition, tried on protective gear worn by pyrotechnicians, and discovered what to do if they encountered an unfamiliar object.
Additionally, there were patriotic face painting by rescuers, quizzes, riddles, and treasure hunts, colorful '101' balloons, and simply a wonderful time spent in great company.
It is crucial for our children to be informed about mine safety, as this knowledge can save lives!
