Caution: Interference in Building Maintenance Systems
Residents of Odessa are urged to remain vigilant about any interference by unauthorized individuals in the maintenance systems of residential buildings.
Specifically, employees of the «ZKS Cheryomushki» received a request from residents of the building at 10 Geraniyeva St. regarding the need to drain water from the heating riser for radiator replacement.
Upon arrival at the site, it was found that the lock on the basement door had been unlawfully changed by a representative of the «Service Plus» company.
This company does not service the mentioned building, which impeded access for utility workers to the basement.
According to the Act of Readiness for the heating season, signed jointly with the «City Heating Supply of Odessa», the employees of «ZKS Cheryomushki» must have unrestricted access to this area.
The building is under the service of «ZKS», as confirmed by the relevant contract. To carry out urgent actions at the site, utility workers cut off the old lock, installed a new one, and completed all necessary work.
«The request has been processed, the radiators have been replaced, and the entire system is operational. The facility is ready for the 2024-2025 heating season,» stated Alexander Musafir, head of Section No. 2 of «ZKS Cheryomushki».
This is not the first instance where employees of former management companies engage in unauthorized actions concerning the housing stock.
