Infrastructure Improvement in Odesa
The Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» is responsible for maintaining and operating the streets, bridges, and overpasses in Odesa, as well as crucial hydraulic structures and the storm drainage system.
Specialized staff perform manual and mechanical cleaning of roads, and during the summer, they also carry out mechanical washing of the road surface.
They regularly clean and repair catch basins, stormwater wells, and other essential components. Furthermore, the specialists conduct repairs of sidewalks, pothole repairs on roads, painting, and cleaning of public transport stops and bins. If necessary, they raise manholes and storm grates to the road level.
Since the beginning of 2024, workers have repaired paving stones covering an area of 141 sq.m, tile surfaces of 1162.02 sq.m, and stairs of 16.4 sq.m. They also performed pothole repairs on the roadway covering 39556.97 sq.m, asphalted the roadway of 5526.59 sq.m and sidewalks of 3258.1 sq.m.
Restoration of 11333.85 sq.m of excavated areas has been completed following the works of the Municipal Enterprise «City Heating Supply of Odesa».
City beautification efforts are ongoing.
