Improving Rainwater Drainage Systems in Odesa
The municipal enterprise «City Roads» is actively engaged in maintaining the rainwater drainage systems in Odesa to ensure they are in proper condition.
Specialists perform repairs and cleaning of stormwater collectors, catch basin grates, and other hydraulic structures, removing sludge, leaves, and debris.
The cleaning of drainage systems is carried out according to a schedule throughout the city, and during heavy rains, the teams of «City Roads» work additionally to ensure unobstructed water flow.
Throughout the year, the workers completed cleaning: gutters and ditches - 16,887 linear meters, catch basins - 4,374, collectors - 5,273 linear meters, and also flushed sleeves - 23,999 linear meters.
Additionally, they mowed grass in the hydraulic structures (10,465 linear meters) and cleaned 1,735.6 square meters of the Buffer Pond.
Work is performed both manually and using heavy machinery such as excavators and graders.
