International Cardiology Conference Held in Odesa
An important international cardiology conference took place in Odesa.
Over two days at City Clinical Hospital No. 10, there were scientific presentations and discussions on critical aspects of cardiology, along with a masterclass based on real surgical intervention during the conference titled “Current Issues in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases”.
Participants emphasized the significance of this event for both experienced practitioners and medical students.
During the procedure conducted by Lviv cardiologists Liliya Sorokhtey and Yuriy Melen, medical professionals from around the globe were able to watch the process in real-time.
Dr. Alfonso Ielasi from Galeazzi Hospital (Milan) also joined the broadcast to provide commentary during the surgery.
The topics discussed were relevant not only for today but also for the future advancement of medical science.
Participants included interventional cardiologist Liliya Sorokhtey, Dr. Alfonso Ielasi, Professor Olena Yakymenko, and Professor Denys Sebov, the director of the clinic.
