Revitalizing Public Transport Stops in Odesa
There are 1,012 public transport stops under the care of the municipal enterprise «City Roads» in Odesa, including 7 historic stops that are over 100 years old.
Daily, vandals damage these stops by writing graffiti, breaking benches, and destroying trash bins. Additionally, the stops suffer from accidents and attacks.
The staff regularly conducts sanitation of surrounding areas, repairs benches and bins, and performs cleaning and painting of the stops.
This month, one of the century-old stops on 15th Fountainska road was refurbished. Unfortunately, vandals continue to leave their marks.
Since the beginning of 2025, 80 transport stops have been renovated, and 99 new bins have been installed.
The Odesa city council once again urges residents and visitors to treat community property with care, as intentional damage can lead to criminal charges.
