New Development in Odesa's Pedestrian Infrastructure
In Odesa, construction has commenced on the pedestrian segment of the inclusive route «North-South». This is the largest pedestrian section of its kind in Ukraine, as part of the National Project «Movement without Barriers».
The route stretches from Kishinev Street to the Administrative Services Center on Zabolotny Street, covering several socially significant facilities. The project includes lowering curbs, installing ramps, laying tactile paving, and updating the surface according to state construction norms.
The work officially began on the first day of the Barrier-Free Week taking place in Ukraine.
This project is being implemented by the Barrier-Free Council with the support of Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
